The history of our church
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is based on the Glory of God Fellowship started by Pa Akindayomi in Nigeria. The RCCG was born in 1952 at 9 Willoughby Street and continued to function there until it was relocated to the present site. Since 1981, there has been a spurt in the number of parishes and there are at least about 2000 parishes of the RCCG in Nigeria today. The fellowship has also spread to countries all across the globe.
